VISIONS Endowment Fund

Events

VISIONS Endowment Fund is a fund of the Vandalia-Butler Foundation and The Dayton Foundation.  The Mission of VISIONS is to “promote the quality of education in Vandalia-Butler City Schools.  Contributions to VISIONS benefit the entire school system and will be used to support the following:  “research and monitoring of new ideas in education, specific district initiatives, training for teachers and administrators and student scholarships.”  (The by-laws of VISIONS were ratified January 2003).

The annual benefit dinner sponsored by the VISIONS Board of Trustees has become the most important source of fundraising income for the endowment fund.  Community members have gathered for an evening of good food, music, and silent auction since 2006. Funds in excess of $60,000.00 have been raised for the benefit of the students and programs in our schools.
